Lappi, The Puppy

Its finally here..!! All the long discussions with parents, friends, experts etc have finally given way to this. It fought all the delays due to part shortage, colour not available, flight delays etc and finally reached me. I am so happy to be the proud owner of my brand new laptop.

So Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting to you my Dell XPS 1530.

Thanks to my parents for this. Even though I paid for it (and this not being my first big buy), this wouldn't have been possible without them.

(And as far as the title goes... :) ... I find it extremely funny when people address laptops as 'Lappi'. To me it sounds like 'Lappi, The Puppy'... and so I called it that)

Red is one awesome color for a laptop. Checked out the machine specs, pretty good. Congrats.

I hope that was not a sarcastic comment.. coz not a lot of my guy friends approved of the colour red.. (though they cant get enough of it once they have seen it)

And the specs.. yeah... i dont know what have you seen, coz the specs can be customised and mine are 4GB, 250GB, 2.4GHz

Wow, just when I thought I got myself a real good laptop with Dell Inspiron, on comes an XPS! Must say a real good piece!
But I wonder where would you be using so much of processing power with 2.4gigs and 4gigs of ram. You might need it only if you are doing video editing or playing high end games with settings kept at all high!

Thanks..!! :) Yea... i know what trouble and madness i went through in deciding between Inspiron and XPS.. But then I am happy with what I chose...

Yes you are right... I wouldnt really need that much right now, considering I am not too much of a gamer..But this laptop is going to be with me for next 4 years (min)..so then considering that i just had to go for the best.. Also id probably need to install a lot of technical softwares on this system which will surely suck up those gigs..

And I am replying here because I notice you probably don't subscribe to the follow-up
comments. So FINAL WARNING : start doing that :D Naa kidding :) Thank you. That means a lot to me coming from a PUBLISHED AUTHOR (may probably get it wrong here but what the heck.. I think it was Indian Express :) ) Bas thodi aur aisi publicity ho jaye to... hehe

AND START WRITING. Maybe make it a birthday resolution. Thinking of which guess what is a bigger number than 23?? And so 30 would be what 6 years... not to mention 40. Yeah, I know I am an idiot:D You've told me that when we discussed the head girl thing :D
